several conclusions can be drawn from the situation that Ahmed Tibi offers. But most important, regardless of whether politicians also have a sense of humor, is the fact that a deputy Arabic (which shares its coalition with the Islamic Movement) exercised chairman of the Knesset. dismisses the designer Christian Dior by Galliano
Semitic comments
CNN) - fashion giant Christian Dior has launched a proceeding to dismiss the famed designer John Galliano, having been filmed in a Paris restaurant making anti-Semitic remarks, as reported Tuesday.
The company condemned his "very offensive statements and conduct" in a statement announcing their plans to lay off Galliano.
"I Love Hitler," Galliano said in a video obtained by the British newspaper The Sun. "People like you would be dead today. Their mothers, their fathers would all be gassed." The comments, according to the report, were carried out at a bar in Paris in October.
After the appearance of this video, Christian Dior Galliano suspended for making anti-Semitic remarks. Dior
president, Sidney Toledano said that "the house of Dior states in the strongest zero-tolerance policy regarding any anti-Semitic or racist, or attitude." Now the designer is formally outside of Dior. The fashion house said the suspension pending the outcome of the case, also involving allegations of assault. Galliano was arrested Thursday night after an argument in a bar and making anti-Semitic comments in the Parisian district of Marais, after a couple filed a complaint, a prosecutor said. A test revealed that there was a high level of alcohol in his blood.
Galliano was released, but must appear before the court in the coming weeks. His lawyer, Stephane Zerbib, has denied the charges, the prosecutor said.
The actress Natalie Portman, Oscar winner for Best Actress of 2010, condemned the comments of Galliano and his confessed love for the Nazi dictator Adolf Hilter. "I am deeply shocked and upset by the video of the comments of John Galliano emerged today (Monday)," said Portman, who appears in advertisements for perfume Miss Dior Cherie. "In light of this video, and a person that takes pride being Jewish, would I involve with Mr. Galliano in any way. " "I hope that at least these terrible comments remind us that we must think and fight these prejudices still exist, which are the opposite of everything that is beautiful," the Oscar-winning

Looking for information on Lorin Maazel's 1984 opera I've found this video which has nothing to do with this work but this year, specifically with the Viennese New Year's concert in which Maazel, director of the moment, decided to play a polka by Johann Strauss himself with his bass, if we heed the broadcaster TVE.
