The public life of our country requires the development and creation of alternative proposals for a system politician who has failed to be consistent with the deep and wide cultural and social wealth of our nation. Today as never before we need to understand the role that as citizens we represent, we must be able to engage, to participate, to imagine and act, and that recognizing the many gaps and absences that have given this country, let's assume this responsibility .
A first attempt to achieve the above may be in the recognition of certain aspects of the political system and its institutional architecture and design. To distinguish and deepen the contemporary institutional context, their daily functioning, their contributions and services to, based on this one, consolidate the proposals consistent and prudent that he may make transformation a reality. In that sense, this space is intended to exist as a medium able to explain and show the necessary elements, but not always sufficient, one of the key institutions in the public life of our country, the Senate, one of the two chambers constituents Federal Legislature, and therefore an essential reference for understanding the necessary and complex interplay between the three branches of government that characterized the form of government in Mexico.
The Senate suggests a design institution that takes as essential concerning three aspects, a first officer refers to the legitimate representation within the legislative branch, territorial entities that shape the Federation with the intention of maintaining the balance of the Union and equality states, a second, which ensures and facilitates both the function and the work of drafting laws in the same representation, taking into consideration the equity that is popular and territorial representation in Mexico and a third which arises from the need to maintain a balancing authority to the Executive. This model is the same as it has gradually allowed greater influence and capacity of government in a historically supported the executive branch, and it stands as a potential institution or involutions possible developments of the political system.
Inside, the work currently being developed for the second regular, the second year of exercise of the 61 Legislature. The development of these two elements has set bail, the process for immigration law and for reform in human rights.
The first represents the consolidation of a migration law which mainly provide the State's obligation to respect and defend the human rights of migrants, with the intention that the mobility of aliens throughout the country to succeed in conditions of respect for life and dignity. In this process it became clear the intention to omit any possible suspicion of criminalization and penalization of migrants, regardless of their immigration status, paying special attention to the delicate issue of the role of the police, and seeking a more consistent and fair restatement of the figure of migrants in relation to existing migration flows in complex contemporary contexts.
The second represents the most significant constitutional changes in human rights, which overcome ideological debates, managed to include a ban on all forms of discrimination, even motivated by sexual orientation, and the investigative powers granted to the National Human Rights Commission to amend provisions of Article 29 in the sense of establishing limitations on the suspension of guarantees, and basically a series of arguments that establish and expand freedoms and rights for which the State must guarantee the full exercise, a behavior consistent with international treaties recognized by the Mexican State itself .
Thus, both processes may well be useful the intentions of this area, reaching as aspects that suggest some idea of \u200b\u200bthe current legislative activity period, which still raises the sufficiency of an important set of issues and circumstances that you will constantly making sense of these lines.
